Is OurDream AI free? Pricing and dreamcoins explained
The account is free, the chat is not: each message costs a dreamcoin and free users get none. Subscriptions are $19.99 a month or $9.99 a month billed yearly.

Short answer
OurDream AI is free to join but not free to use. According to its help center, a non-subscriber pays 1 dreamcoin for every chat message, OurDream does not hand out free dreamcoins, coins cannot be bought without a subscription, and image and video generation require a subscription. The paid plans are $19.99 a month or $9.99 a month billed $119.88 yearly, both with unlimited standard chat.
What a free OurDream account can do
- Pass the age gate, create an account and browse the public character library.
- Chat only if you have coins: each message costs 1 dreamcoin. The only official sources of free coins are referral bonuses and occasional Discord contests.
- No image or video generation. If you unsubscribe later, your existing images and videos are blurred until you subscribe again.
That makes OurDream a poor choice if you want a long-term free AI girlfriend. For services with a published free allowance — daily messages, starter credits — see free AI girlfriend apps.
OurDream AI plans
| Plan | Charged | Per month | Dreamcoins | Chat |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Monthly | $19.99 every month | $19.99 | 1,000 at once, then 1,000 a month | Unlimited |
| Annual | $119.88 once a year | $9.99 | 2,000 up front, then 1,000 a month | Unlimited |
There is no intro-then-higher renewal trick here: the help center lists one price per plan. Over twelve months, monthly billing costs $239.88 and the annual plan $119.88. Subscription coins arrive at 2 pm EST on each renewal date.
What costs dreamcoins
From OurDream's "What costs coins?" article, for subscribers:
| Action | Dreamcoins | With 1,000 coins |
|---|---|---|
| Chat message, standard models | 0 | Unlimited |
| Chat response, "Genius" models | 1 per response | 1,000 responses |
| Image in chat | 5 (2 images: 10) | 200 images |
| Voice call | 50 per minute | 20 minutes |
| Video | 100 per 5 seconds (max 60 s) | 50 seconds |
| Create a chatbot | 10 | 100 characters |
| Community pack (one character's full library) | 250–1,000 | 1–4 packs |
Video is where coins go fastest: one 60-second clip costs 1,200 coins, more than a month's allowance. If video is the main thing you want, compare per-video prices with DarLink AI, which charges 20 tokens per video, or check our AI porn generator list.
Monthly or annual?
Take the monthly plan ($19.99) if you are trying OurDream for the first time: monthly plans cannot be refunded once the coins are used, but you only risk one month. Move to annual ($119.88) once you know you will stay — it halves the monthly price and adds a one-time 1,000-coin bonus. Annual plans may be refunded in full or in part, but not once more than 25% has been used, and never when paid in crypto.
Paying, cancelling and refunds
- Payment: credit/debit card or cryptocurrency. PayPal is not accepted. Card payments usually show as active in 2–15 minutes; crypto takes longer.
- G2A keys: OurDream's help center links a 1-year subscription key and a 1,000-coin key on G2A, redeemed under "Redeem Code" on your profile. Coin keys need an active subscription.
- Cancel: ourdream.ai/profile → "Cancel subscription". Access and coins last until the end of the billing period. No automatic refund on cancelling.
- Refunds: none once more than 25% of a product is used; monthly plans not once coins are used up; annual plans may get a full or partial refund; crypto payments are never refunded.
