Good for: people who want a companion they can not only text but also call by voice or video, and who like paying with crypto.
Watch out for: no public prices, chat in only four languages, and account deletion that goes through Discord or email instead of a button.
Bottom line: Nectar has an interesting feature set, but you can't compare its cost before signing up. We don't link to it; if you want published prices, the partners below show theirs up front.
Pros
Cons
Nectar AI is a companion platform that runs entirely in the browser. Per its homepage, FAQ, terms and help-center documentation (checked 2 Nov 2026), it covers:
Adult content is an option rather than the default: the NSFW mode is available only to users verified as 18+.
The free plan includes the character creator, AI chat and a limited number of image generations. Nectar does not put exact numbers on the chat or image limits.
Beyond that, Nectar uses credits, an in-app currency for premium actions: advanced roleplay, image and video generation, certain chat models, voice beyond your plan's allowance, and voice calls (billed per minute). Credits are sold separately or bundled with plans. The cost of each action in credits is not published on the pages we read.
This is the weak spot for comparison shoppers. The pricing screen has a Monthly/Yearly switch, but prices load only after login, so we cannot quote them. From the documentation we know of two paid tiers:
| Plan | Price | What the docs say |
|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | Chat, character creator, a few image generations |
| Pro | Shown after login | Unlimited companion creation; voice messages |
| Ultimate | Shown after login | Everything in Pro plus voice chat |
If clear prices before sign-up matter to you, compare with Candy AI, which lists $3.99/mo on a 12-month plan ($47.88), or DarLink AI, which publishes both plan prices and token costs.
Nectar's documentation says it runs in the browser on desktop and mobile with no app download needed, and explains how to add it to your home screen like an app. There is no official App Store or Google Play app. An iOS app called "Nectar Companion AI" from an individual seller exists, but it is not confirmed as official, so be careful with it.
The interface is English only. Per the FAQ, companions chat in English, German, Spanish and French, with "more to come". There is no Chinese interface and Chinese chat is not listed.
Crypto keeps your card out of it, but crypto payments are usually non-refundable. Use a separate email, keep personal details out of chats, and see Is an AI girlfriend safe?. These are overseas services for adults; follow the law where you live.
Both run in the browser with no store app and both cover chat, images and video. The differences are in pricing transparency and calls.
| Nectar AI | Candy AI | |

If calls are the reason you are looking at Nectar, Candy is not a direct replacement; OurDream AI, which publishes a per-minute call price, is closer. If you mainly want images and video at a known price, Candy is the easier comparison.
Nectar fits users who want calls — voice or video — as part of the companion experience and are fine signing up before seeing a price. It is less suited to readers who want a Chinese interface, a store app, or a clear monthly figure before creating an account.

Nectar does not show prices before login. The plan names Pro and Ultimate appear in its documentation, and the pricing screen has a monthly/yearly switch, but the amounts are visible only to logged-in users.
Nectar says it runs in the browser on desktop and mobile with no download needed, and you can add it to your home screen. An iOS app with a similar name from an individual seller exists, but it is not confirmed as official.
The FAQ says Nectar does not store sensitive financial details, characters based on real, recognisable people are prohibited, and the NSFW mode is only for verified adults. Account deletion is permanent and is requested via Discord or by email to support.
